Deal Memos
The system is capable of generating boilerplate deal memos, contracts and 'invoice reminders', pulling details from the artist records, admin>config and the respective content generation pages in admin. These documents can be printed directly from the web page, saved as pdf to be emailed, or cut-n-pasted into word (or whatever you like).
Deal Memos
The Deal Memo is intended as a pre-contract document that establishes the basis for your agreement with the artist. The generic content is managed through admin>clauses, which shows a list of clauses that comprise the document.

Editing the titles and clauses is simply done by clicking on the text that you wish to change. For instance, clicking on the VAT paragraph would result in the following:

The last two clauses will always remain at the bottom of the page (where they're treated as closing paragraphs, more than contract clauses). The text ARTIST_LIAISON_NAME and ARTIST_LIAISON_EMAIL will automatically be replaced by the respective details from admin>config.
Once you've got the boilerplate Deal Memo just how you want it, return to artist>contract where you'll see a button next to the fee called Memo.

Clicking on this will generate the memo for your current artist. As much information as possible will be grabbed from elsewhere in the system - company, festival and performance details... and our boilerplate document.
If you have provided a header graphic (logo & address) for your boilerplate documents, that'll display at the top of the page. NOTE - we have to upload this file for you.

As with the boilerplate document, you can edit much of this page simply by clicking on the text (except we've been a little more helpful by highlighting what you can edit in yellow when you put your mouse over the text!). For example, clicking on the VAT paragraph gives you:

Changes saved here affect the Deal Memo for this artist only, i.e. the changes won't appear in any other artist's document. These changes are also tracked on the main contract page, so that you can easily see which clauses were amended at a later date.
