- Acts which have been confirmed as performing at the event and are therefore visible in the system for processing. Artists that have been added using the staff>artists form are automatically confirmed. Artists that have been added via the scheduler are only confirmed if the small checkbox in their time block has been ticked.
- Module
- Parts of the system that extend, build or enhance the core functionality. Examples include Accommodation, Guest-lists, Vehicle management and Press. Modules can be switched on/off in admin>config.
- Permissions
- Control access to the system. A 'permission' is a group of 20+ different settings governing whether users can view and edit the site modules. Permission settings for artist content have four levels (no access, view only, view and edit, superuser), whereas staff and admin settings are, generally, either on or off. Superusers have additional functionality that lets them delete content (which is, by the nature of the system, not allowed), view secure parts of the site (financial information) or perform key tasks.
- Primary Contact
- The first point of contact for an artist. It defaults to the first name/address provided and can be changed by clicking the small star next to the new primary name, provided that it contains an email address. Sometimes called primary address. Primary details are used by the messaging system and also in generating boilerplate documents.
- Superuser
- A superuser is a permission level that provides functionality beyond the standard view/edit. For example, it could enable the user to delete content, view financial information or perform key tasks. See the permission page for more details.
- Unconfirmed Artists
- Those acts that have been added in the Scheduler (only) who have not got the small checkbox ticked. Unconfirmed artist records are not visible anywhere else in the system and can only be seen in the Scheduler by those users with level 2 or 3 permissions. Only level 3 permission users can confirm the artist (by ticking the checkbox and then clicking the save icon). Using the unconfirmed artist system is simply so that programming can view how the intended line-up and enables them to put place-holders so that others are aware that negotiations for that space are underway.
